Carnaval

Well, I have learnt my lesson! I am never going to Carnaval in Cadiz ever again! It was cold, there was nothing to do and we got covered in piss! I hate 'We Love Spain' biggest waste of time ever!

The next time I go to Carnaval it will be in Rio!

That's right...

....I'm on blogger and Facebook as I've fobbed off the kids with a Valentine's Day Card activity!!



Probably should've censored the magazines before I gave them out though...More's 'Position of the Week' is just not suitable for 10year olds!!

Sacrificing English

So over a delicious lunch of yellow and brown foods, Christina and I had the daily American vs British English conversation! It went as follows....

Leah: Hmm I've noticed how you say houses (hausez)

Christina: Why, how do you say it?

Leah: Houses (howsez)

Christina: But..mouse, you don't say mouses (mowsez)
**genuine look of triumph**

Leah: Err, Christina....it's mice.

Christina: Oh shit

Definitely a win for the British by default!

Que mierda de horario!

So, the kids went on strike yesterday because 15minutes were getting added to the school day. It's ridiculous, all that has changed, is that they have 5minutes extra on their break and 10minutes more at the end of the day! Talk about kicking up a fuss about nothing. But whatever, meant I got to go home early!

For future reference...

You cannot pick up a pregancy test in Spain without drawing attention to yourself!
